We'll see Ben. Utah has grown on us (not the one-minded religious culture) but other aspects. And the more we visit other places the more we realize (for us) that a place is just a place and it doesn't matter where we live.

Would I like to go elsewhere? It depends on the day. Mostly I would prefer financial security and enough money to take the family traveling every other year to experience other people and cultures.

Perhaps Utah is more survivable because I have Jason. But regardless, I don't miss California anymore (not like I used to for the first 4 years). My sister is going through the same thing. She hates Utah and loves California. But that will change. It always does if you let it. I think I could settle anywhere (accept the south) and find happiness and contention - if I wanted (and I always do).
